TPO and EPDM are single-ply membranes used on flat and low-slope commercial roofs. TPO is a light-colored sheet that reflects sunlight; EPDM is a black rubber sheet that absorbs it. At Wyoming's altitude both face strong ultraviolet light, so seam and flashing detail decide the outcome more than the material does. We install both.
